+ # Nasi Goreng
+

+ ### Ingredients
+
+ - 2 red Thai chiles , stemmed
+ - 2-3 large shallots , peeled
+ - 2 large garlic cloves , peeled
+ - 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
+ - 1 tbsp molasses
+ - 1 tbsp soy sauce
+ - 1 tbsp fish sauce
+ - Salt
+ - 2 large eggs
+ - Vegetable oil
+ - 1 1/2 - 2 cups basmati rice (cook for more)
+ - 1 1/2 - 2 cups frozen vegetables (carrots, beans, peas, and corn is a good mix)
+ - 1 1/2 - 2 cups protein of a sort-- cooked chicken, pork, shrimp, etc.
+ - 4 large scallions , sliced thin
+ - 2 limes , cut into wedges

+ ### Preparation
+
+ - Emulsion blender for chilies, shallots, garlic, brown sugar, molasses, soy sauce, fish sauce, and pinch of salt. Blend into smooth sauce.
+ - Get 2 tbsp of oil hot in a wok. Add a finely chopped shallot, then some of the blended sauce.
+ - Work rice, veg, and protein into the wok in batches.
+ - Add in more blended sauce and oil as needed.
+ - Add fried onions or finely sliced scallions to dish before topping with finely cut omlette.
+ - Serve with sambals (badjak and manis are good).
